Centro Dalmai Yoga

(Calle Duque  de Sesto 10, 3-5 minutes walk from Principe de Vergara or Goya subway)

Join me in my first class this year 2019! Set an intention and get clear on your goals!

In this workshop, you will be able to focus and formulate your Sankalpa, channel your divine energy in the body and empower yourself in achieving your highest truth.

The word intention in Sanskrit is Sankalpa; “san” which means to bring together or to coalesce and “kalpa” which means your thoughts, feelings or ideas. It’s your heartfelt desire and resolve to achieve your goals. Recognizing your heartfelt desire allows you to live the life that you want and reach your full potential.

More than a New Year’s resolution, Sankalpa is your solemn vow or promise to self that no matter what obstacles may arise, you will continue and be determined to pursue in achieving your goals.

As yoga means union, yoke, or join together, we join together our mind, body and spirit to create a life full of our Dharma, our truest intentions.

What we’ll do:

  • Guided Mindfulness Meditation

  • Setting an intention and journaling (bring pen and new small notebook)

  • Sankalpa Meditation

  • Pranayama and Yoga

  • Tea & chitchat

Price: 20€

Note: If you are signing up for January’s Sunday classes, the price would still be the same, 45€. No additional fees.

Limited spots available! Send me an email to reserve your spot or sign-up below.

Beginner's Yoga Workshop

Date:

Saturday, 13 October 2018, 11:00 - 2:00 PM

Sunday,   14 October 2018,  11:00 - 2:00PM

Place:

Centro Dalmai Yoga

(Calle Duque  de Sesto 10, 3-5 minutes walk from Principe de Vergara or Goya subway)

Start your yoga practice by learning the basic principles of yoga!

When I started practicing yoga, nobody taught me the correct breathing techniques. Nobody taught me the principles behind the yoga asana practice. And because I immediately joined intermediate to advanced yoga classes, there were times I ended up panting during the class and feeling exhausted at the end. There are a lot of principles behind the yoga asana practice, and I was totally unaware of those. I usually attended yoga classes without preparing and centering (without pranayama), and that often leads to unfocused and tensed up practice.

If you would like to start up a serious and healthy yoga lifestyle, you have to know and understand the basic principles of yoga.

During this 2-day workshop, you will learn the following:

  • Yoga History, Benefits & Definitions

  • Pranayama or Breathing Techniques

  • The Bandhas or Locks

  • Meditation/ Mindfulness

  • Yoga Asanas and the Principles

  • Theory Discussion

  • Practice

Price:  60€
